Long ago, the old man who was a horse head as a companion who came to do hunting to Koretaka Imperial prince who went to Minase well frequently like usual was serving it. It is the thing until Imperial prince comes back to the shrine of Kyo after several days. Old man couldn't come back early because Imperial prince gave him sake and reward was given to it though he sent Imperial prince to Kyo and he thought that it intended to come back early. When this horse head wanted to come back early, he was irritated and sang poem.

* I will never sleep with the pillow which pulled grass and connected it by the trip.

* So, it is the night of the short spring which isn't made to put the length of the night of autumn now.

It was the end in March at that time. Imperial prince didn't sleep and spend the short night of spring. Old man was serving it with such a thing done. But, surprisingly Imperial prince shaved hair and priest was done.

Snow is very thick there because it is the foot of mountain of Hiei when old man visit in Ono when audience was intended to be done in New Year.

Old man had difficulty during the snow and visited. When old man did audience to Imperial prince in the priest room, there was an Imperial prince by the state which was sad to be borning. Therefore, head time old man served it very much and remembered old matter and others, and spoke. Old man felt good if it could be served as it is by his side. But, it couldn't be served all the time because there was an event of the public of Imperial Court of New Year and others. Old man sang poem because old man came back to Kyo in its evening.

* I forget reality, and sometimes think this is a dream.

* That I step on and divided the snow, and I see you.

Old man was hatched in Kyo where he cried and cried.
