Ise Story of GroupTheory - group 69th paragraph

Long ago, there is a man. The man went to Ise country as a Imperial messenger of hunting. Ise Saiku's mother said "Entertain to this man more courteously than the usual messenger."

Therefore, Saiku was entertained very cordially because it was parents' orders. Morning made man come to her house when the preparation that man went for the hunting was done , and when man came back in the evening , Saiku was made to come to her house.

Saiku distributed the detailed consideration done like this, and Saiku did care. The second-night, man's heart is puzzled and gets confused, and man says "I want to meet by all menses tonight. " to Saiku. Saiku didn't think that of course she never wanted to meet man, either. But there is much attention, it is difficult for Saiku to meet. Saiku can't be lodged in so far place because this man was the central figure member even in this messenger.

The place where man slept was near the female shrine, Saiku waited for that other people fell asleep and she came under the man at about 11 p.m. Man laid himself down and sleeping with outside seen more, so he was in agony and didn't sleep. Then, while moonlight was vague, man saw the figure which Saiku who was little girl first was standing on.

Man was very happy and put her in his bedding, and there was he together from 11 p.m until 2 a.m. But, Saiku go back while nothing still talked. Man was very sad and he didn't sleep after all. Next early morning, though man was anxious about Saiku's thing, he was still waiting for errand from her because errand couldn't done from himself. Then, after day broke completely and did for a while, there was no sentence and only a poem came from Saiku.

* I don't know whether I asked whether you came well.

* Is it when I wake up when I am sleeping whether it is a dream or it is reality?

Man cried very violently and wrote a poem.

* My heart was disturbed in the darkness of the heart that is lost in sorrow.

* Whether be a dream or be reality you are to come tonight and get clear, please.

Man went for hunting after he wrote it and he was sent. The man's heart was empty though his body was in the field. If person slept tonight, man thought that he intended to meet Saiku soon. But, man couldn't meet Saiku at all because the person even with the chief of Saiku dormitory with the head of the Ise country heard that messenger of the hunting came and sake(it is liquor) was drunk all night long was spent, either. Man couldn't meet after all only with little girl and Saiku though man shed tears of blood stealthily because man intended to leave for the country in Owari if day broke. When day tried to break, poem wrote it in the unglazed plate of cup which Saiku offers to the man. When man takes it in the hand and it is seen.

* It was the shoal which wasn't wet even if someone goes on foot crosses.

Though it was written, there is no second half of her poem. Man added poem second half of the poem to the unglazed plate of cup with the charcoal of the torch.

* I will get over Osaka(it is meeting slope) and meet you again.

Then, when day broke, man went over the border in Owari to the next country.

Saiku was the Yasuko Imperial princess who took on Montoku Emperor daughter, Koretaka's Imperial prince's younger sister on the reign of Seiwa Emperor.
